Box office collection: 'Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat' mints ₹1.52cr
Entertainment
Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, starring Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa, pulled in ₹1.52cr on its opening day—impressive considering the film had barely any marketing.
Over 18,000 people showed up for day one, with most of the earnings coming from block bookings and the rest from regular ticket sales.
'Thamma' is the bigger film
Released during Diwali, the film is up against Thamma (with Ayushmann Khurrana), which has already crossed ₹5cr in advance bookings thanks to a much bigger promo push.
Neither Rane nor Bajwa joined in on promotions for Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat.
For Bajwa, this movie is a key project after Baaghi 4 and Housefull 5—and she's also set to appear soon in Border 2.
