Box office: 'Param Sundari' fails to impress, collects ₹48.50 crore
Entertainment
"Param Sundari," the romantic comedy starring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, finished its theatrical run with a modest ₹48.50 crore in India.
Released on August 29, 2025 and directed by Tushar Jalota, the film generated some buzz with Sonu Nigam's track "Pardesiya," but quickly lost steam as new movies like "The Conjuring: Last Rites" and "Baaghi 4" took over.
Film saw earnings drop by 75% after 1st week
After its first week, "Param Sundari" saw earnings drop by 75%, bringing in just ₹9 crore in week two and only ₹2.5 crore more after that.
The arrival of "Jolly LLB 3" sealed its fate under the ₹50 crore mark.
Still, Maddock Films avoided losses by selling non-theatrical rights—and now all eyes are on Janhvi Kapoor's next release, hoping for a bigger hit.
