Chandrachur Singh's family property drama: What's going on?
Bollywood actor Chandrachur Singh, along with his mom and brother, recently reached out to Aligarh officials about a fight over their ancestral home, Kalyan Bhawan.
He's worried the historic mansion could be surreptitiously sold without their say and says the family is just trying to protect what's rightfully theirs.
Why is this estate such a big deal?
Kalyan Bhawan isn't just any house—it's a six-acre mansion built back in 1885 after land was gifted to Singh's great-grandfather. Over time, it became super valuable as the area got more crowded.
In the late '90s, Singh's uncle Ganga took charge of the property while his dad was busy with politics and films.
Since then, other relatives have jumped into the dispute too, making things even messier.
For now, both sides have left Aligarh, so this family saga isn't ending anytime soon.
