2019 is going to be an extra special year for Salman Khan's fans. That's because, firstly, the superstar will be treating his fans with his Eid release, Bharat. And then, he'll also begin shooting for his much-awaited film Dabangg-3'>Dabangg 3 this year. In fact, according to media reports, the third installment of the popular Dabangg franchise will hit the floors next month. Here's more.

'Salman will kick-start movie with a shoot at Mehboob Studios'
Reportedly, Salman will be launching Dabangg 3 along with his family on March 26 in a grand event. Earlier, it was speculated that the event will be held on April 4. But looks like the makers decided to advance the launch, given palpable excitement among the audience. "Salman will kick-start the movie with a shoot at Mehboob Studios in Bandra," a source reportedly stated.

Sonakshi to reprise her role of Rajjo, expresses excitement
Apart from Salman as Chulbul Pandey, Dabangg 3 will also star Sonakshi Sinha reprising the role of Rajjo in the movie. The actress, who made her debut with the Dabangg franchise in 2010, is excited to be a part of the third installment. "I've started my film journey with Dabangg so it's like a homecoming for me. I am very excited," Sonakshi asserted.
Delay
Did 'Dabangg 3' get delayed because of 'Bharat'?
Interestingly, Dabangg 3 has been in the news for a long time. Reports of its launch were doing the rounds on and off. In fact, Salman was planning to launch the movie in September last year. However, the launch got delayed as the Sultan actor decided to focus on Ali Abbas Zafar-directorial Bharat before laying his hands on Dabangg 3.

For now, Salman is busy with 'Bharat' last leg schedule
Meanwhile, Salman is occupied with the last schedule of Bharat which is slated to release on Eid this year. "Salman is expected to complete his portions for Bharat in next few weeks. He's keeping a buffer of a few days in case he needs to shoot any patchwork," a source reportedly told DNA. Apart from Salman, Bharat also stars Katrina Kaif in the lead.
