Dark Winds is coming back for Season 4 on February 15, 2026!
Inspired by Tony Hillerman's novels, the show follows Navajo detectives Leaphorn and Chee as they dive into a new mystery.
This season kicks off at 9pm ET on AMC and AMC+, with eight episodes lined up—expect plenty of suspense and drama.
Plot and cast details
Leaphorn, Chee, and Manuelito are investigating the disappearance of a young Navajo girl, taking them from their home turf all the way to gritty 1970s Los Angeles and into the world of organized crime.
Zahn McClarnon returns as Joe Leaphorn (and is making his directorial debut this season), alongside Kiowa Gordon and Jessica Matten. New faces Franka Potente and Titus Welliver join the cast too.
