Past incidents

Darshan's previous controversies and their impact on film releases

This isn't the first time Darshan has faced controversy during a film release. In 2011, his movie Saarathi was released while he was in jail for a domestic abuse case filed by his wife, Vijayalakshmi. Despite this, Saarathi went on to have a successful 100-day run in theaters. Industry insiders believe that the same could happen with The Devil as well.
