Despite his deteriorating eyesight, Babuli continues to perform with unwavering faith. However, during one last Mahashivratri performance, he appears to become the Rudra avatar, triggering an emotional and spiritual journey.

Khanolkar, Prabhavalkar on making the film
Khanolkar shared his childhood memories associated with Dashavatari performances in his native village in Konkan. He said, "I have tried to capture the essence of all of that in this film." Prabhavalkar called it one of the most profound experiences of his career. "Portraying Babuli Mestri was one of the most profound experiences of my career, a role that demanded not just performance but surrender," he said.
