Delhi HC puts Sunjay Kapur's ₹30,000 crore estate battle on hold
The Delhi High Court has paused its decision in the high-stakes dispute over late industrialist Sunjay Kapur's massive estate.
His kids with actor Karisma Kapoor—Samaira and Kiaan—are challenging a Will that leaves everything to Priya Sachdev Kapur.
They say the Will looks suspicious, pointing out odd details like feminine pronouns, misspellings, and missing names—including Sunjay's mother, Rani Kapur.
Family questions missing assets and will's authenticity
Rani argues the Will skips over major assets like art, watches, and bank accounts—way more than the ₹1.7 crore it mentions.
In court, both sides traded arguments: Priya's lawyer denied any wrongdoing or hidden money; the kids' lawyer insisted there are big gaps and possible forgery in the Will.
The court is now deciding if Priya should be stopped from handling any of Sunjay's assets until things are sorted out.
