What's the story

Ranveer Singh's latest film, Dhurandhar, has reportedly crossed the ₹350cr mark at the domestic box office within just 10 days of its release. The film, directed by Aditya Dhar and featuring an ensemble cast including Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal among others, was released on December 5. It is now targeting to surpass the lifetime collections of Yash's KGF Chapter 2 (₹435.33cr).

Box office battle

'Dhurandhar' outperformed 'Pushpa 2' in 2nd Sunday's earnings

Dhurandhar has reportedly beaten Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 in terms of second Sunday collections. The film earned ₹59cr on its second Sunday, surpassing Pushpa 2's ₹54cr earnings on the same day. This marks a significant achievement for Dhurandhar as it continues to dominate the box office with its impressive performance.

Record-breaking performance

'Dhurandhar' surpassed Singh's previous highest-grossing film

Dhurandhar has already become Singh's highest-grossing film, surpassing his and Deepika Padukone's Padmaavat which earned ₹302.15cr during its box office run. The film opened with ₹28cr and became the second-highest opener of 2025, beating Saiyaara starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Pada. It added around ₹75cr more to the tally over its first weekend, despite a minor drop on its first Monday collection (₹23.25cr). After seven days, it had crossed ₹200cr.

Sustained success

'Dhurandhar' maintained strong momentum in the 2nd week

The film began its second week on a high note with earnings of ₹32.5cr. It witnessed further growth on the second Saturday with a business of ₹53cr, and Sunday recorded its highest earnings yet at ₹59cr. This consistent performance has helped Dhurandhar maintain its dominance over other films, like Tere Ishk Mein and Kapil Sharma's romantic comedy Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2.
