'Dhurandhar' faced a legal challenge over Major Mohit Sharma's portrayal
Dhurandhar faced legal issues before its release. The parents of the late Major Mohit Sharma, a recipient of the Ashoka Chakra and Sena Medal, moved the Delhi High Court requesting an immediate halt to the film's release. They alleged that Dhurandhar is based on their son's life and missions without any permission from his family.
