On Sunday, the makers announced the film by sharing an intriguing poster. Visfot serves as the second film for D'Souza, further establishing her shift from television to the big screen. D'Souza made her Bollywood debut in 2021 with the suspense thriller Chehre, which starred big names like Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi. Moreover, Visfot was initially planned as Khan's comeback film. However, due to multiple postponements, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar became his return project.
