Star cast

New cast additions and creative team

The sequel, directed by Nitin Kakkar and written by Bilal Siddiqui, will once again star Hashmi in the lead role. He will be joined by Disha Patani, who has been roped in as the female lead. The film promises to deliver another gripping story of love and redemption, much like its predecessor.

Expectations

'Awarapan' gained cult status over the years

The original Awarapan, despite being a commercial failure, was praised for Hashmi's performance, music by Pritam, action sequences, and dialogues. It also featured Shriya Saran in a key role. It later gained cult status and is now regarded as one of Hashmi's best works. The sequel aims to deliver the same grit and blockbuster music that made the original a timeless classic.
