Kangana looks all set to kill in 'Dhaakad' first poster
After the grand success of Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi, Kangana Ranaut announced her next woman-centric movie, Dhaakad. The movie, which is said to be a "one-of-a-kind" action thriller, will feature Kangana in a never seen before avatar. The makers released the first poster of the movie today featuring Kangana, as the boss lady armed with guns, who is gearing up for a battle.
In the first poster of Dhaakad, Kangana looks ferocious as she stands with guns in her hands, with a burning landscape in the background. Her daredevil looks however remind us of Angelina Jolie's Lara Croft from her 2001 release Tomb Raider.

Meanwhile, Kangana called Dhaakad a "one of a kind female led action film." She further stated, "After the success of Manikarnika, it has been proven that audience across the globe are loving larger than life films with a female hero." "If Dhaakad is received well, there will be no looking back for women in Indian cinema," she added.
The 32-year-old also said that Dhaakad will be "a benchmark film for my career. The film is mounted on a large scale, is one of a kind female led action film, and is apt for a Diwali release." Helmed by Razneesh Ghai and produced by Sohel Maklai Productions and Asylum Films, Dhaakad may begin rolling in early 2020, and will release on Diwali.
"This film will be beautifully crafted and a sincere piece of action cinema, with a number of thrilling action sequences, and a female hero who's as elegant as she is deadly," highlighted Razneesh. Reportedly, the movie will be shot in India and some foreign locations. Besides, the makers are also roping in well-known action directors from Hollywood to choreograph the action sequences for it.
Meanwhile, Kangana is gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie Judgementall Hai Kya? opposite Rajkummar Rao and Satish Kaushik. The movie is said to revolve around the complicated relationship of an ex-couple who are the prime suspects of a murder. Interestingly, the movie will mark Kangana and Rajkummar's reunion after five years. They were last seen in Vikas Bahl's 2014 release Queen.
