'Wonder Woman 1984': Gal Gadot leaves heartfelt message post-production
Credits:

Wonder Woman 1984 is the highly anticipated sequel to Wonder Woman, DC's first solo woman superhero movie. The film is being directed by Patty Jenkins and Gal Gadot reprises her role as the Amazonian warrior princess. As the film wrapped up production, Gadot got into the Christmas spirit, and shared a heartfelt message with her fans along with some pictures from behind the scenes.

Instagram Post
Gadot puts out a long and heartfelt post

We did it. Again!! And as much as the first time shooting Wonder Woman was amazing, this time was even more unique and special.. We shot in 4 very different locations in 3 countries, and I'm so soooo proud of the almost 1000 crew members who came to set every day, giving everything they have into our movie. Couldn't ask for better partners on this.. I'm so lucky to have the one and only Patty Jenkins, as my director. She always has our backs, she gives us the wings to dare, and everyday she helped us find the most creative version of ourselves .. I am so grateful to call her my friend. And to our AMAZINGly talented cast who made every day enjoyable and fun, thank you! Honestly.. Words cannot describe this experience.. This journey was so demanding and challenging but we all came and did our very best every take, every day, putting our all out there and I’m so proud... Thank you universe for this opportunity. I love this character. And thank you to all of you for being the best fans in the world. It was you that made me push myself every day. I'm so happy and excited, can't wait to share it with you in 2020! ❤️ Gal

Gadot's message
A tougher schedule, and a movie to be proud of

Gadot took to Instagram to express how much she enjoyed working on the sequel. While calling the first film's shooting experience 'wonderful', she said the second time was more 'unique and special'. Perhaps, this was because they shot in four different locations across three countries. The actress also congratulated the crew members who poured their heart and soul into the making of the film.

Gratitude
Gadot thanks Jenkins for giving her 'wings to dare'

Gadot was all praise for the people who worked on the film with her. She mentioned how director Jenkins gave them "wings to dare," had their backs and helped them realize the "most creative versions" of themselves every day. Gadot mentioned how lucky she was to call Jenkins her friend, and thanking the "amazingly talented cast for making each day enjoyable and fun."

Final thanks
Thanking the universe and her fans, Gadot signs off

Gadot could not stop gushing about the movie as she mentioned how demanding and challenging it was, but the entire cast and crew did their best throughout. She thanked the universe for the opportunity to play Wonder Woman, mentioning how much she loved the character. Gadot also thanked her fans for being the best in the world, saying they were her motivation every day.
