'Give me one more chance': Ibrahim pins hopes on 'Diler'
What's the story
Ibrahim Ali Khan, who has previously appeared in OTT releases Nadaaniyan (directed by Shauna Gautam) and Kayoze Irani's Sarzameen, is now gearing up for his big-screen debut with Diler. The film is being directed by Kunal Deshmukh, known for his work in Jannat. In a recent interview with Esquire India, Khan expressed confidence in Deshmukh's vision and ability to present him well on screen.
Director's impact
Khan on working with Deshmukh
Khan said, "I've really sat on the script this time around. Kunal Deshmukh sir is a really experienced director. He's very good and can present me well." He added, "I'm not taking shots at my previous directors, but the truth is that they are also first-time filmmakers. You have to think about that." The young actor also revealed he has a "good" feeling about Diler.
Acting prowess
'KD has really shown me the way'
Khan expressed confidence in his acting abilities, saying, "I know how to act - it might be a cocky thing to say but some people have it, and some don't." He added that Deshmukh has been a great guide on set, always ready to help him whenever he faced challenges during the shoot. "KD has really shown me the way. If I'm not comfortable with something, he would find a workaround. He always has an answer."
Audience appeal
Khan asks viewers to be patient
Despite facing criticism for his earlier films, Khan has asked viewers to be patient and give him another opportunity to prove himself. He urged his fans, "Give me one more chance, man. Let's have at it." The film will also star South Indian actor Sreeleela opposite Khan. The team reportedly completed their first shooting schedule in London last year.
