After nearly a decade-long hiatus, actor Imran Khan is making his much-awaited return to the silver screen. The project is helmed by Break Ke Baad director Danish Aslam and also stars Bhumi Pednekar and Gurfateh Pirzada. Speaking to Hindustan Times, Khan described the project as a "natural progression" influenced by their real-life experiences of marriage and divorce.

Khan revealed that the decision to cast Pednekar was due to her positive energy. He added, "The shoot is complete, and it's in post-production. We are looking at releasing it once the streaming platform decides on the date." The actor also shared how he initially rejected Break Ke Baad but changed his mind after a conversation with Aslam at a party. "We hit it off...that's when he sent me a draft...and we were shooting a couple of months later."
