What's the story

The Telugu film Irumudi, starring Ravi Teja, has crossed the ₹50cr mark in India net collections within just three days of its release. The movie also recorded its highest single-day earnings on August 23, Sunday, with a collection of ₹18.8cr across 3,078 shows. This figure represents a 16% increase from Saturday's earnings of ₹16.2cr and takes the total India net collection to ₹50.3cr and gross collection to ₹58.37cr so far!

'Irumudi' witnessed a gradual increase in collections over the weekend

Irumudi has seen a steady increase in its box office collections over the weekend.

The film opened with an estimated India net of ₹15.3cr on Friday (August 21), which increased to ₹16.2cr on Saturday and further jumped to ₹18.8cr on Sunday.

This brings the total India net earnings for the opening weekend alone to ₹50.3cr!

Earning ₹13.5cr from overseas gross, its worldwide gross stands at ₹71.87cr.

Day 3 India gross collection and earnings by state

Andhra Pradesh and Telangana were the biggest contributors to Irumudi's Day 3 India gross collection, generating ₹18.25cr on Sunday.

Karnataka followed with ₹2.3cr, Tamil Nadu contributed ₹53L, while the rest of India added ₹70L to the mix.

Kerala recorded a modest ₹2L contribution. The combined India gross for Day 3 stood at an impressive ₹21.8cr!

Irumudi, directed by Shiva Nirvana and shot by Vishnu Sarma, is an action-drama family film.

It follows Trinadha (Ravi Teja), an Ayyappa devotee battling alcoholism and a violent past. His life takes a turn through his daughter Manikanta (Baby Nakshathra).

The film also stars Sai Kumar as Gopal Raju, another father with a different approach to parenting his daughter Gayathri.
