Farhan reveals father Javed was 'teary' after watching '120 Bahadur'

Ahead of its theatrical release on Friday, November 21, actor Farhan Akhtar has shared his father, renowned writer and lyricist Javed Akhtar's emotional response to his upcoming film 120 Bahadur. Speaking to India Today, he revealed that the veteran poet was "very moved" after watching the movie. "He's not somebody who cries very easily when he's watching a film. But he was very, very teary and very choked up at the end," Akhtar said.

"He loved it. He's seen the film in an edit as well," Akhtar said about their father's reaction, adding that they felt a sense of achievement with his emotional response. Akhtar also revealed that his sister and filmmaker Zoya Akhtar, is yet to see the film. She will be watching it on Wednesday, November 19, along with other members of the film industry.
