Jr NTR's 'Dragon' resumes shoot , Africa schedule confirmed

Jr NTR is back on set for his action film Dragon, with shooting kicking off in early December 2024 at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.
The team plans to wrap this stretch by Christmas, then take a short break before picking up again in January.

Why should you care?

After Hyderabad, the crew heads to Africa for three weeks of intense action scenes—so expect some big visuals.
Dragon features Rukmini Vasanth as the female lead and is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts.
Although it was meant to hit theaters in June 2026, fans will have to wait a bit longer as the release has been pushed to late 2026 or early 2027.
This marks Jr NTR's comeback after War 2 didn't quite land with audiences.
