Kannada actor files harassment, stalking case against producer

Entertainment

A Kannada film actress has accused businessman and producer Aravind Venkatesh Reddy of sexual harassment and stalking.
She says Reddy, known for organizing celebrity cricket events in Dubai, Sri Lanka, and India, slowly crossed boundaries under the pretense of friendship—eventually harassing her and her family.
When she tried to cut ties in 2024, he allegedly threatened her life and bombarded her with calls.
The ongoing stress led her to attempt suicide in April 2024.

Police arrest Reddy after continued harassment

Even after the actor's hospitalization and clear requests for no contact, the harassment reportedly continued. She also accused another model of secretly taking photos at an airport for blackmail and spreading false rumors about her.
In August 2025, a defamatory letter with airport photos reached a friend; this was among the evidence considered by police in their investigation of Reddy.
He was arrested at Kempegowda International Airport in November 2025, facing charges including sexual harassment, stalking, criminal intimidation, defamation, and image morphing.
