Kapil Dev's daughter to make her Bollywood debut with '83
Kabir Khan directorial '83 starring Ranveer Singh has been one of the most anticipated movies of the year. After all, it will chronicle the journey of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev and his team's glorious triumph at the 1983 World Cup. While we are eagerly waiting for the intriguing movie, media reports suggest that Kapil's daughter is also making her debut with '83. Here's more.
Reportedly, Kapil's daughter Amiya Dev will be seen working with Kabir as an assistant director for '83. The news was confirmed by Chirag Patil, who will be playing the role of his father Sandeep Patil in the movie. Talking about the same, he stated, "She's part of our daily training sessions since she is on the direction team. She's very involved in the process."
Meanwhile, Ranveer, who will essay the role of Kapil in the movie, has already begun his training for '83. In fact, he is being trained by Kapil himself to ensure he looks as authentic as possible. "Kapil will coach him to perfect his iconic bowling action and Ranveer will work with him to pick up all his mannerisms," a source stated.
Interestingly, after having a training schedule in Delhi, the team of '83 will reportedly head to Dharamshala for their next training schedule. Later, Kabir and his crew will be heading to London and Scotland for the shooting of the movie.

'83 will be released in three languages: Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil. "Considering that cricket and movies are akin to religion in India, producers have decided to shoot for Tamil and Telugu versions simultaneously," a source said.
