Renowned comedian Kapil Sharma's fans were in for a treat after he had announced his much-awaited small-screen comeback.
It was reported that Kapil would be returning with the second season of 'The Kapil Sharma Show' on Diwali.
But, you might have to wait a little longer for Kapil's laughter ride as the show has, reportedly, been postponed due to creative delays.
We all know how Kapil's last show 'Family Time With Kapil Sharma' tanked due to various reasons.
But this time, he isn't in a mood to take any risk and is taking every necessary step to assure a successful launch.
"The makers do not want to start the show in a haste. As of now, the final creatives haven't been locked," a source stated.
Reportedly, postponing the launch of TKSS2 to year end was mutually decided by the makers and Kapil himself.
"There's a lot of pending work regarding the cast and the format and it's not possible to go on floors so soon. Even the set hasn't been erected yet," the source added.
As per the media reports, Kapil may kickstart his show post his wedding on December 12.
The comedian had announced his wedding earlier this week with girlfriend Ginni Chatrath.
The big fat Punjabi wedding will be held at Ginni's hometown Jalandhar and will be a lavish affair.
Reportedly, the couple might cut short their honeymoon due to TKSS2 launch slated for year-end.
