What's the story

Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi is just two years old, and he already enjoys a massive fan following, courtesy his pictures inundating social media. His 'stardom' is such that his fans even launched a doll resembling the Pataudi prince. Certainly, this hasn't happened to any star kid before. However, his mother Kareena Kapoor isn't happy about it and called the doll creepy.

Statement

Kareena feels Taimur doll resembles the scary Chucky doll

During her recent appearance on Koffee With Karan 6, when host Karan Johar quizzed about the much-talked-about Taimur dolls, Bebo seemed to have lost her cool. She quickly retorted saying that the doll resembles the creepy Chucky doll of Child's Play. The doll "has some strange blue eyes and some scruffy hair and a bandhgala - this doesn't make him my son," she exclaimed.

Reaction

The least they could do is send me one: Saif

Meanwhile, Taimur's father Saif Ali Khan was quite amused with Taimur dolls. In fact, he even jokingly said once about getting one for himself. "Maybe I should trademark his name. The least they could do is send me one! I'm glad people are benefiting from him. I only ask God for his safety and happiness in return," he was quoted saying to Hindustan Times.

Paparazzi

We do our best to protect Taimur from paparazzi: Kareena

Needless to say, the Internet is unapologetically obsessed with Taimur, no matter how protective the parents are. Kareena once said that she and Saif are doing their best to protect Taimur from the constant media glare. "I can't stop him (Taimur) from going out or going to the playschool but I can request the paps to not take his pictures," she added.
