Keanu Reeves spotted filming on set for 'John Wick 4'

Keanu Reeves is all set to begin production for the fourth iteration of his hit action-packed franchise, John Wick. The Canadian superstar was spotted at Potsdam Babelsberg studios in Berlin, Germany, recently for the same. There's also a change in the writers team for this instalment, which means Derek Kolstad wouldn't detail out how and why Wick goes on a killing spree.

Release date for 'John Wick 4' pushed by a year
Like many other projects, this film too faced a lot of production difficulties due to the pandemic. It was first slated for a theatrical release on May 21 this year, but the release has now been postponed to May 27 of next year. Also, Kolstad, an acclaimed screenwriter and creator of the John Wick franchise, won't be returning to write for John Wick 4.

"It wasn't my decision. At a certain stage, the studio will tell you, your creation is graduated, and you wish it well. I'm still close with Chad (Stahelski), and I don't know what's going to happen, but I'm excited to see (sic)," Kolstad told Collider.

The actor has also delved into writing comic books
Apart from John Wick, Reeves will soon appear in two Netflix projects, based on his comic series. To recall, he had made his writing debut with a comic book series called BRZRKR alongside author Matt Kindt. The limited series comic book will be following an immortal warrior's life. Netflix wants to make a live-action film and an anime spin-off based on this.

Reeves will be seen with Priyanka Chopra in 'Matrix 4'
Reeves recently finished filming on another of his hit franchise, The Matrix. Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra will be joining him in the Matrix 4 film. Jada Pinkett Smith, Carrie-Anne Moss, Lambert Wilson, and Daniel Bernhardt will be reprising their roles in the yet-untitled project. The venture is currently slated for a simultaneous theatrical as well as HBO Max release on December 22 this year.
