Maa's Day 3 box office collection rises by 12.50%

Kajol's new horror film, Maa, is quietly making waves. In just three days, it's earned ₹17.4 crore in India—starting with ₹4.65 crore on Day 1 and picking up speed over the weekend.
The movie mixes mythological vibes with supernatural chills and saw a solid 12.5% jump in earnings by Day 3.

'Maa' defies odds at box office

Even with competition from titles like Sitaare Zameen Par and F1 The Movie, Maa has held strong—a nice win for a horror drama these days.
Film analyst Taran Adarsh called out its impressive run despite the crowded field.
If you missed it in theaters (it dropped June 27), no worries: Maa will stream soon on Netflix as part of Ajay Devgn's Shaitaan universe, starring Indraneil Shubhra Sen Gupta and Ronit Dolly Boseroy alongside Kajol.
