Babu learned Kalaripayattu, changed his running technique
Babu revealed that he spent two to three months training in Kalaripayattu, the traditional martial art of Kerala, to perfect his posture for portraying Lord Ram in Varanasi. He also trained with a track-and-field team for six months to change his running technique as per Rajamouli's vision. "That's the kind of commitment I was willing to make for this film," he said.
