Mallika Sherawat urges Sushma Swaraj to help her

Bollywood actor Mallika Sherawat has put forth an appeal to External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj seeking help in arranging an Indian visa for the co-founder of an NGO called Free-A-Girl. She is trying to make things easier for Evelien Holsken whose application has been rejected repeatedly. Here's more on what she said.
Ma’am @SushmaSwaraj co-founder of Dutch NGO #FreeAGirl has been repeatedly denied visa to India, this NGO is doing superb work for trafficked children women. Pls help!

The NGO in mention here protests against human trafficking and emphasizes on creating awareness about commercial sexual exploitation of children in India. Mallika serves as the brand ambassador of the NGO's 'School of Justice' programme. The initiative focuses on providing education to the girls who have been rescued from brothels and propel them towards becoming lawyers.
"I feel strongly about this issue and felt the urge to seek help in order to get support from the government and be granted visa allowance to the co-founder who has been tirelessly working for the benefit of Indian children and women," Mallika said in a statement.
