The film, directed by Antoine Fuqua and produced by Graham King (Bohemian Rhapsody), is set to hit theaters on April 24, 2026. The first teaser for the film dropped 2 months ago.

Jaafar Jackson, Jackson's nephew, will be seen playing the pop icon in the film.
