Did Mouni Roy threaten to leave Akash Ambani's wedding?
It's been almost a month since Akash Ambani married Shloka Mehta, but the stories surrounding their wedding refuse to die. After all, it was a starry affair that got the nation buzzing. But amidst all the glitz, it was reported that Bollywood actress Mouni Roy gave a tough time to the security guards and even threatened to walk out of the event. Here's why.
Mouni refused to adhere to security rules
The Ambanis left no stone unturned in maintaining high-end security arrangements at the wedding. Guests were asked to give away their mobile phones before entering the venue. Apparently, this rule didn't go down well with Mouni who refused to hand over her phone. As per a SpotboyE report, the Gold actress didn't cooperate with security personnel.
Mouni was not comfortable with security rules
"Mouni was not at all comfortable with her phone being locked, but, the condition was applicable to all the guests at the party and hence she had to agree to it without a choice," a source told SpotboyE.
Mouni tried to break the security rules
While Mouni had to give in to security demands at the entry, she, reportedly, tried removing the seal sticker from her phone in the green room twice. "When the security officials came to address the situation, she got extremely agitated and started arguing with the officers," the source added. She also threatened to leave the wedding and cancel her performance at the last minute.
Did Mouni perform at the wedding?
It was indeed a troublesome situation, especially for the security guards. However, despite Mouni's starry tantrums, she had to give in to the security demands and perform as the payment was made in advance. "After a long argument, she finally had to give in as the payments were all made in advance, she had to perform at the wedding," the source had stated.
Mouni's Bollywood career is on a roll
On the work front, Mouni has some big projects in her kitty. After making a decent debut with Akshay Kumar's Gold in 2018, she will now be seen in John Abraham's Romeo Akbar Walter and Nawazuddin Siddiqui-starrer Bole Chudiyan.
