Netflix reveals intense teaser for R Madhavan's 'Legacy'

Netflix has announced a new Tamil series titled Legacy, starring R Madhavan, Abhishek Banerjee, Nimisha Sajayan, Gautham Karthik, and Gulshan Devaiah. The announcement was made during the streaming platform's slate showcase in Mumbai on Tuesday. Helmed by Charukesh Sekar and produced by Kalyan Subramanian and Stone Bench Studio, the show is set to premiere in 2026.

The official synopsis of Legacy reads, "Faced with a prophecy of downfall and an inevitable siege, Periyavar, an aging gangster, fights to save his empire, family, and most importantly - his legacy." The team behind Legacy said that the series allowed them to explore "the anatomy of power, succession and the emotional weight of what is left behind."
