Last year, the Academy Awards introduced a new way of announcing nominations through sketch featuring actors. There are some surprises awaiting us this year as well. For this edition, some big names of the industry have been roped in to announce the nominations; our desi girl Priyanka Chopra is one of them. Here are the details.

Priyanka's series of firsts
Priyanka Chopra is, perhaps, the only Indian star who has made it big in Hollywood. Last year, she stunned the audience by ruling the red carpet of The Academy Awards. According to sources, this year, she will be announcing the nominations, though it is still unclear if she will be one of the presenters this time.

Apart from Priyanka, the list of actors who are roped in for announcing nominations includes Rosario Dawson, Michelle Rodriguez, Rebel Wilson. The ceremony will be held on March 4 and it would be hosted by talk show host, Jimmy Kimmel. That will be his second year in the row. On the work front, Priyanka is busy shooting for the third season of 'Quantico'.
