Will SRK make Ra.One's sequel? Director says it's possible

    What's the story

Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha said the idea of a sequel to his superhero film "Ra.One" has not been ruled out as he and superstar Shah Rukh Khan are always discussing it.

While the "Raees" star has often said that he wants to return as a superhero in the film, Anubhav claimed that it is possible if one gives a thought to it.

    Here's more.

    Quote

The sequel needs a catalyst: Sinha

"Neither of us have written it off. SRK and I keep talking about it. But it needs one catalyst. It'll come either from him or me. Every time we both meet, we talk about it. But nothing exciting enough has happened so far," Anubhav said.

    SRK's spirit

Sadly, Ra.One didn't perform well at the box office

Ra.One, which featured SRK as superhero "G One", was his dream project with a whopping budget of Rs. 150cr, making it the most expensive 2011 film.

The sci-fi film, however, tanked at the box-office and did not receive favorable reviews.

Considering Sinha's words, it seems SRK is not willing to give up easily and hopefully writers will come-up with a brilliant script this time.

    Information

Sinha's 'Mulk' to release on August 3 this year

Sinha is currently awaiting the release of his next, "Mulk", featuring Rishi Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Rajat Kapoor, and Ashutosh Rana among others. The courtroom drama tells the story of a Muslim family trying to reclaim its lost honor. It's scheduled to release on August 3.
