Ramya Krishnan and Rajasekhar team up again for Telugu 'Lubber Pandhu'

Ramya Krishnan and Rajasekhar are back together after 27 years, starring in the Telugu remake of the hit 2024 Tamil film Lubber Pandhu.
The original was a cricket drama that won over audiences, and now shooting for the remake has kicked off in Hyderabad with Rajasekhar himself securing the rights.

Fresh faces and a sports rivalry twist

Directed by Ani IV Sasi, this version features Rajasekhar and Ramya Krishnan in the roles of VR Dinesh and Swasika from the original film.
Adding a family touch, Rajasekhar's real-life daughter plays his on-screen daughter.
Viswadev Rachakonda (from 35 Chinna Katha Kaadu) joins in a key role.
The story centers on fierce cricket rivals whose personal lives get tangled up with their battles on the field.
