Newlyweds Ranveer-Deepika postpone their honeymoon to 2019: Here's why
It's been less than a month since Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone got married. And, like thorough professionals, they are already back on work circuit. Ranveer had plunged back to work just a week after his wedding, and now it is reported that the newlyweds have postponed their honeymoon plans. Here's why.
Notably, Ranveer is currently busy promoting his upcoming release Simmba which is one of the biggest releases of the year. As a result, Deepika chose to put their honeymoon on hold. "Right now, we are just focused on his film releasing and we will figure out honeymoon, birthday and all after that," Deepika was quoted saying.
Ever since the trailer of Simmba was released, Deepika has been all praises for the movie. She already called it a blockbuster and said that it has success written all over it. Deepika said, "I loved the trailer, it's signature Rohit Shetty and I have had the pleasure of working with him and creating one of my most memorable characters with him".
On a related note, Deepika is all set for her next project with Meghan Gulzar on acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. The actress will not just play the lead role but will also produce the movie. Talking about the same, Deepika said, "We will start working on the film early next year. I think it's a story that needs to be told".
