Saif Ali Khan was recently seen arriving in Alibaug, Maharashtra, by speedboat, fueling speculation that he is there to shoot portions of his upcoming film Haiwaan. A source close to the project confirmed to Bollywood Hungama that Khan's arrival was indeed for an important filming schedule for Priyadarshan's directorial venture. The source said, "There are a few portions we are shooting with Saif in Alibaug. These sequences are crucial in building his character in the film."

'Haiwaan' filming locations and action sequences

Earlier, the outlet reported that an important sequence for Haiwaan had been filmed at Churchgate and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, both in South Mumbai. Another article in Mid-Day reported that Khan and Akshay Kumar shot a grand action sequence near the Churchgate railway station. The sequence involved a cat-and-mouse chase with 30-40 cars and 100 junior artists. The shoot continued for five nights under the supervision of action director Stunt Silva.
