Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor has added a new luxury beast to his garage, acquiring the limited-edition Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 Night Series. The SUV, which costs ₹3.71 crore (ex-showroom), was recently unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo. The Deva star became the first owner of this limited-edition car in the country. It comes with a dual-tone paint job and a powerful 4L twin-turbo V8 engine, among other high-end features. Kapoor was also spotted with the vehicle recently.

Kapoor's Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 Night Series flaunts a one-of-a-kind two-tone paint job, with Mojave Silver on the upper half and Onyx Black on the lower half. It gets a blacked-out grille, dark alloy wheels, and rose gold accents on the grille and headlights. The luxury SUV sits on 22-inch wheels, just like the ones on the Maybach EQS 680 Night Series.

Under the hood, the SUV packs a 4L engine
Under the hood, the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 Night Series is powered by a 4L twin-turbo V8 petrol engine that produces 543hp and 770Nm of torque. It also gets a 48V mild-hybrid system, giving an additional boost of up to 250Nm. The SUV comes with a nine-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive setup, enabling it to go from zero to 100km/h in just 4.9 seconds.

Inside, Kapoor's new Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 Night Series sports an all-black theme with black upholstery and a dark dashboard, per reports. It comes loaded with high-end features such as a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital driver's display, and a panoramic sunroof. The four-wheeler also offers a 13-speaker Burmester sound system, four-zone climate control, heated and ventilated seats, electric sunblinds, a 360-degree camera, and dedicated screens for rear passengers.
