'Special OPS' impressed 'locked down' viewers

The espionage spy-thriller, Special OPS had released on March 17, 2020, just days before India was locked down to curb the spread of coronavirus.

Menon, who essayed the role of an R&AW agent, left viewers amused with his performance. He formed a team to end a 19-year-old manhunt.

The eight-episode series also starred Karan Tacker, Saiyami Kher, and Vinay Pathak.

    Who is Aadil Khan?

Hailing from Bhopal, Khan was already a celebrity, but of a different kind, before Shikara.

He was known as RJ Nasar and hosted the famous RED FM show Naughty Nights with RJ Nasar until 2017.

Reportedly, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, the director of Shikara, had asked him to delete his social media profiles as the filmmaker wanted to "reinvent his image."
