Shruti and Vidyut start shooting for Mahesh Manjrekar's untitled film

Actors Vidyut Jammwal and Shruti Haasan have started shooting for their untitled gangster drama in Mumbai today. The movie will be directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, who also penned the script. The film would also feature veteran actors Naseeruddin Shah and Amol Palekar. Manjrekar's directed films include 'Vaastav: The Reality,' 'Astitva' and 'Viruddh...Family Comes First.'
Shruti also shared the news on Twitter and posted a photo with her co-star and director. "And here's to another one!! Day 1 of my next film directed by @manjrekarmahesh with @VidyutJammwal again!" she tweeted. Vidyut wrote, "New day, new beginnings! Its Day1 of my next film directed by @manjrekarmahesh." Movie is produced by Vijay Galani and Pratik Galani through their banner Galani Entertainments.
