'Skin of Youth' takes top prize at IFFI 2025

Skin of Youth, a Vietnamese film by Ash Mayfair, just won Best Feature Film at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa.
Set in 1990s Saigon, it follows San, a transgender sex worker dreaming of a sex reassignment surgery, and Nam, an underground cage fighter, who fights to support her son.
The film was awarded the Golden Peacock at the festival's closing ceremony.
Festival highlights
The night also celebrated Rajnikanth's 50 years in cinema with a special tribute from Goa's Chief Minister.
Awards went to Kesari Chapter 2 and Gondhal, while Norway's Safe House took home the ICFT-UNESCO Gandhi Medal.
The event was packed with stars like Ranveer Singh and featured vibrant performances from Northeast India.
