#MeToo controversy: Tanushree hits back at Rakhi, calls her transgender
Tanushree Dutta led #MeToo movement has ignited a new spark in Bollywood, as several women called out powerful men on their predatory behavior. But, it took a different turn when Rakhi Sawant accused 'lesbian' Tanushree of raping her. Now, in an interview, Tanushree has presented her side of the story by exposing Rakhi. She also called her a transgender woman. Here's what she said.
Tanushree calls Rakhi a pathological liar
Tanushree, while reacting to Rakhi's claims, called her a pathological liar who can go to any extent for money and publicity. She also mentioned that while she was unfazed by the allegations leveled by Rakhi, she chose to speak up now as Rakhi claimed to be her friend. Dismissing her claims, Tanushree said that she chooses her friends and enemies wisely.
Tanushree slams Rakhi for mocking #MeToo movement
Tanushree also slammed Rakhi for mocking the #MeToo movement with her fake allegations. Lashing out at her, Tanushree told Zoom TV, "Rakhi rubbished the #MeToo movement and claimed that the allegations are being made by some struggling actresses. She also said that the victims are coming out as they are not getting work in Bollywood. But then you too are a struggling actress".

Tanushree also alleged that Rakhi isn't left with any money now as all her properties have been mortgaged by bank. She also contradicted Rakhi's claim that Tanushree is leading #MeToo to get an American visa. She said that it's Rakhi whose American visa has been canceled. Tanushree further revealed that Rakhi is a transgender woman and there are strong rumors about it in Bollywood.
Rakhi has been involved in casting couch, claims Tanushree
Additionally, Tanushree slammed Rakhi and claimed that the controversy queen has been involved in casting couch. She stated that Rakhi herself has admitted about casting couch in her previous interviews. "Rakhi has stated that she is ready for casting couch if she is getting work in the industry. This is her truth and she must know where she stands before targeting me," she added.
But, I have compassion for Rakhi: Tanushree
After clearing her stand, Tanushree stated that she has no hard feelings for Rakhi. Instead, she has a lot of compassion for Rakhi as she is damaging herself rather than her. Tanushree also claimed that all the allegations that are leveled against her are Rakhi's own experiences which she is projecting on her. Well, we wonder what Rakhi has to say on this.
