'Prahaar' and 'Eetha' teasers may debut with 'Cocktail 2'

The much-anticipated film Cocktail 2, starring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna, is set to hit theaters on Friday (June 19). Ahead of its release, Bollywood Hungama reported that the teasers for two highly awaited films, Rajkummar Rao's Prahaar: The Ujjwal Nikam Story and Shraddha Kapoor's Eetha, may be attached to Cocktail 2. Both these films are produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films, like Cocktail 2.

Prahaar: The Ujjwal Nikam Story is based on the life of special public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam, with Rao playing the titular role. Directed by Avinash Arun, the film also stars Wamiqa Gabbi, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Sikandar Kher. On the other hand, Eetha features Shraddha as Marathi Tamasha artist Vithabai Narayangaonkar and is directed by Laxman Utekar.

Maddock's history of pairing promos with film releases
A source told the outlet, "In all probability, these two teasers will be shown with Cocktail 2, though the final call is yet to be taken." Maddock usually pairs promotional assets with theatrical releases: the Bhool Chuk Maaf teaser with Chhaava, Shakti Shalini's announcement with Thamma, and the Chhaava teaser alongside Stree 2. "Hence, it won't be a surprise if audiences are treated with the promos for Prahaar - The Ujjwal Nikam Story and Eetha alongside Cocktail 2," they added.

'Cocktail 2' gets a certificate from CBFC
Ahead of its release, Cocktail 2 has been given an A certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). This marks Sanon's first A-rated film and Mandanna's second, after Animal. For Kapoor, it is his fifth adult-rated film after Kaminey (2009), Udta Punjab (2016), Kabir Singh (2019), and O'Romeo (2026).
