'Thalaivar 173' makers warn against casting scams

Entertainment

Heads up, Rajinikanth fans—producers of Thalaivar 173 have spotted fake casting emails going around.
Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI) made it clear they haven't hired any casting agents and will take legal action against anyone misusing their name.
This is their second warning this year, showing just how common these scams are in Kollywood.

Why this matters:

Impersonation scams are on the rise, with other studios like Neelam Productions and Prince Pictures also sounding the alarm.
Even stars like Sibi Sathyaraj, Aditi Rao Hydari, Shriya Saran, and Dhanush's manager have urged people to double-check before responding to any casting offers.
If you're an aspiring actor or a fan, stay alert and always verify before trusting any emails about auditions.
