According to a report by Pinkvilla, these concerns arose after Hussain Ustara's daughter, Sanober Shaikh, sent a legal notice to the makers and demanded compensation of ₹2 crore. The film is directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
