Veteran actor Lee Moon-soo passes away at 76 after cancer battle
Lee Moon-soo, the beloved South Korean actor known for roles in Signal, Hello Ghost, Goblin, and Ghost Doctor, passed away on November 28 after battling lung cancer since 2022. He was 76 (some sources report 77).
His passing was confirmed by the Korean Theatre Actors Association.
A funeral service is set for December 1 at Hanyang University Hospital Funeral Hall.

Lee started his acting journey at Seoul Institute of the Arts and joined the National Theater Company of Korea in 1989.
He left a mark with standout stage performances in classics like King Lear and Death of a Salesman, while also making waves on screen in Daemul.

Lee is survived by his wife Yoon Se-sook and family—he'll be remembered for his sincerity and influence across generations.
