Vijay Deverakonda-Keerthy Suresh team up for action drama
What's the story
The much-awaited film VD15, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Keerthy Suresh, has been officially launched. The movie marks the first official collaboration between Deverakonda and Suresh, who previously shared screen space in Mahanati but were not paired opposite each other. Directed by Ravi Kiran Kola, the film is produced by Sri Venkateshwara Creations.

The pooja ceremony was attended by industry stalwarts, including Hanu Raghavapudi, Dil Raju, and Allu Arvind.

Rumored title and crew details
VD15 marks Deverakonda's first collaboration with director Kola, who is known for films like Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru (2019) and Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam (2022). The film is rumored to be titled Rowdy Janardhan. Meanwhile, Suresh was last seen in Uppu Kappurambu, a comedy-drama film produced by Ellanar Films and released on Amazon Prime Video.

Deverakonda was recently seen in Kingdom, an action thriller written and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. Co-produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, the film also stars Satyadev and Bhagyashree Borse. It is the first part of a planned duology and follows a police officer who goes undercover on a case that leads him to meet his estranged brother, a smuggler. The film received mixed reviews.
