Vijay Sethupathi admits he's in the dark about his 'Arasan' role
Vijay Sethupathi just shared that he doesn't actually know what his role is yet in the upcoming film Arasan.
Speaking at the Behindwoods TV awards, he said, "I don't know anything about my role," but added that he's thrilled to be involved since director Vetrimaaran specifically thought of him for the part.
Why Sethupathi's still excited
Even without details, Sethupathi feels honored: "The fact that I came to his mind itself is a great joy. I told him, 'Sir, go ahead and write it.'"
He also called working with Vetrimaaran "a journey of learning about cinema as if it were life."
What's Arasan all about?
Arasan is a gritty gangster action drama set in the Vada Chennai universe, following a man on trial as flashbacks reveal violent crimes.
This marks Sethupathi's third team-up with Vetrimaaran after Viduthalai 1 and 2, and music will be by Anirudh Ravichander.
