Jhanvi told PTI, "After we reached my mother's house in Nashik, he had vomiting and loose motions. He didn't want to go to the hospital so we asked the doctor to come home." "When I went to wake him up at around 6am (on Sunday), he was no more. The doctor there told us he passed away last night in his sleep due to a cardiac arrest."

Sethi's body sent for post-mortem, funeral in Mumbai on Monday

Jhanvi also informed that Sethi's mortal remains have been sent for post-mortem to Mumbai's Cooper Hospital. The actor, known for his roles in popular TV shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kahiin To Hoga, is survived by his wife and their twin sons born in 2021. His last rites will be conducted in Mumbai on Monday.
