Neena signed 'Badhaai Ho' without even reading the script
Neena, while talking to IANS, revealed that she had signed 'Badhaai Ho' without even reading its script because of its interesting concept. "I did not even read the script of the film because the subject was so interesting. Female actors of our age don't get a chance to play such interesting characters," Neena said.

Drawing similarities between the society and movies, Neena told the news agency, "In Indian families, an older woman is a useless woman. The same way older actresses hardly have any role. It is a mirror image of society."
Neena asked for work on Instagram
In fact, the National Award-winning actress even shared a post last year asking for work on Instagram. She posted a picture of herself and wrote, "I live in Mumbai and am a good actor looking for good parts to play" (sic). Her post became the talk of the town, and she signed movies like 'Veere Di Wedding' and 'Mulk', after that.
