Why Rasha turned down Lijo Jose Pellissery's romantic drama
What's the story
Rasha Thadani, the daughter of actor Raveena Tandon, has opted out of director Lijo Jose Pellissery's upcoming romantic drama, reported Pinkvilla. Despite being a top contender for the role, Thadani's busy schedule with other projects forced her to decline the offer. A source close to the development told Pinkvilla that she had to step away from the project due to a date clash.
Scheduling conflict
Thadani's upcoming projects delayed her participation
The source added that delays in the shoot of Laikey Laikaa, her next release with Abhay Verma, have extended her work timeline. The film's production has been pushed back, making it difficult for Thadani to take on another project. After completing Laikey Laikaa, she will start working on her South debut with Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni, nephew of superstar Mahesh Babu.

Pellissery's Bollywood debut: A glimpse into the project
Pellissery (Angamaly Diaries) announced his Bollywood debut earlier this year with a romantic drama co-produced by Hansal Mehta under Amen Movie Monastery and True Story Films. The film, written by Pellissery and Karan Vyas, will explore the delicate complexities of human relationships. It will feature music by AR Rahman. The casting details are still under wraps, but reports suggest that either Vir Hirani, son of filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, or actor Zahan Kapoor may lead the film.
