Building did not have proper clearances: Congress MLA
Congress MLA Arekapudi Gandhi has alleged that the building did not have proper clearances and was under scrutiny before the collapse.
He said, "In Madhapur division, the illegal seven-storey under-construction building was stopped by officials for four months."
"They recently restarted the construction work illegally," he added.
Gandhi urged people to understand the risks of illegal constructions and said similar incidents had occurred in Serilingampally before.
